Eli has been down with sick since last Wednesday, and he lost his voice last Friday, so i took him to the hospital. Worst that he had the fever at the same night, the fever actually was his first fever. Hubby was the one who realized the heat while he was changing Eli to pyjamas, so i fed him Paraceptamol at 10pm. At 1am, i saw his face as red as ripe tomato, seemed like the fever medicine didn’t bring down the heat as what we had expected. The doctor ever said i only could feed the fever medicine at every 6 hours, so without much choice, hubby and me started wiping him with cold towel from 1:30am till 3am, and finally brought the temperature down to 37.2 degree.
That night i didn’t sleep well, i actually had set the alarm to wake up hourly to check on his temperature, but Eli, my alarm, whom had been waking me up every 30 minutes before my actual alarm ringing me up. And today, the 8th days, he still coughs like an old man, needless to mention his losing weight. Lo and behold, when one down with sick, others would sure get infected too. Now, hubby and Jo also having cough and running nose. As for me, i’m barely survived but i think i soon will get the bugs as i have slight blocking nose now. Sigh..
Caring those sicks LAIs are tiring, so please don’t blame on my bad temper. I am definitely deprived of good sleep ever since the little baby down with sick, and i also don’t know why it always has someone calling me when i wanted to take a sleep. At day time, the maid always calls me to ask this and that, at night time, either one of LAI would call me too. Gosh, i am really not such a greedy mother, i just hope i can get an uninterrupted sleep, just a little, like 3 hours is enough, but when i will be granted??

A backdated post.

On 28/6, Jo had his first stage show drama “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” which most people are familiar. The ticket was not cheap, but since Jo was interested and had been talking this fairy tale, so i “forced” hubby to go to the theater with Jo with an excuse “be a good papa, a chance for bonding with your son”. So off they went to the theater, which just opposite my apartment. That day was actually a raining day, but the weather did not chill out the little boy’s mood.
From my apartment, it is actually just walking distance to public library, government hospital, theater, schools, shopping malls, wet market, restaurants and park. So, you can imagine how convenience of staying in such a location which i can access amenities easily. Even just make a call, then my meal would being delivered at my doorstep. Oh, sorry that i have strayed from the “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.
Jo had been exciting and had been kept storying the tale over and over again for the following days. For hubby, just the other way round. I asked hubby when they just back from theater :-
“How was the show?”
“I don’t know..”
“Huh? how come you don’t know?”
“I was sleeping there, of course you know!”
Alas, that’s really wasting the ticket money, maybe i should not force him so that i could use the money for Personalized Stationary. What a “bonding” in such a way, i think i over expected. In the end, the result was not what i expected it to be.

A backdated post.

We had a brunch at one Japanese restaurant (forgot the name) in Coastal City. Before the brunch, i bought a cake from Maxim and planned to cut the cake after the brunch. But since everyone was full so ended up we only cut it after we’re home. After the brunch, we wandering around the Jusco, was initially planned to hunt a toy for Eli, but couldn’t find any interesting. The situation happens quite often, everytime we go out Jo definitely won’t go back with empty handed, that day hubby bought him a “Force Impulse Gundam”.
After Jusco, we went to Crocs, a very spacious shop that sells all Crocs styles and sizes, at there, i got a pair of Crocs (Motion style) for Eli. He had a birthday angpow from hubby’s ex-colleague, so i just used the money for paying the Motion which is good to be worn for little babies as it protects their toes. In fact, i would like to buy the common Cayman, but hubby begged to differ. After buying the Crocs, i had a very clumsy fell at Adidas shop and now the bruise still here.

1. Eli’s birthday cake.
2. Waiting for blowing the candle.
3. Eating his cake. (playing more than eating)
4. Digging his birthday presents.
5. He likes his Crocs Motion.
6. A Sammies bag from Mommy.
I like this “scrapbook” very much although i had to resize all the photos and not able to show you about our new Steinworld Furniture.

And, also a lovely gift from a very pretty mommy, Yvonne. Thanks Yvonne. You sure know that i love Oshkosh.
Yvonne and me had a same taste bud, she bought a “shark” designed for Eli, so did i, but mine is for Jo.

I got myself an insurance last year right after i delivered my second baby. I have one policy before, but it doesn’t give me comprehensive protection and that’s why i insured another one. I was initially planned to get the PruLady from Prudential since it was more cheaper, which i just need to pay RM1200 per annum. But my insurance agent who can talk aggressively like having a magic power that made me willingly to opt the policy from Great Eastern. This policy is more expensive that i need to pay RM2160 per annum.

I somewhat felt like i am not such a music gifted person as sometimes i just found it was hard for me to remember those lyrics as well as humming a single tone. So i had ever suspected my elder boy did carry my no music gene as musics or songs just seemed as a hard work for him. So not mentioned you can expect him to sing a full song for you.

There are quite a lot of lenses in town which come with different brands, features and specifications. So a little bit of understanding of camera lenses can help before paying the money since some are definitely not cheap at all, unless money is not your issue. Choosing the right lens for camera is daunting too, since a lens can cost few thousand of dollar, so i would really love to have more review and compare featured, or best to have the lens fully tested before i pay.
I ever read a camera magazine said that user of Canon EOS 450D can think of buying or upgrading the kit lens with either one or all, like :-
- Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM
- Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM
- Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 DC OS
- Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM
- Tokina Fish-Eye AT-X 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5
- Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1

I saw quite a lot of bridal photo taking booths in the mall yesterday, so being a nosey lady i walked to one of the booth and pretended i am a bridal-to-be soon. No, i was not the most craziest one as my hubby did involve in starring too. In fact, the packages are quite cheaper than taking bridal photos in my home country and most of the booths are having unbelievable promotions now, a couple would get RMB1000 discount upon signing up their package. So, the price stated was just so appealing to me.

@Jo turns 52 months old today!
Last Sunday, hubby brought Jo to hospital as Jo has been coughing for quite a while. After consulted the doctor, Jo was sitting on the chair while hubby was paying at the cashier. Suddenly hubby saw Jo putting “something” into his mouth, so hubby ran up to Jo and asked : -
“what are you eating?”
“fries lo” *Jo answered with his angelic smile*
“where’s the fries from?”
“tu….” *finger pointing the chair that beside him*
OMG..he saw the fries without knowing that it’s clean or dirty but decided to give the fries a good bite. You know, the hospital is the government hospital, so you can imagine how “clean” the hospital can be. Eating, smoking and spitting are pretty common scenes in hospital here.*yucks*

While bathing Jo this evening, he suddenly said :-
“Mummy, i want to be a doctor when i grow up”
“huh? really?”
“Ya…”
*after a while*
“Mummy, i don’t want to be a doctor when i grow up, i don’t like doctor liao…”
“but just now you said your ambition is to be a doctor”
“but being a doctor is very tired, and a lot of things to do too, i also hate study”
Don’t you feel his innocence is pretty appealing? For me, Jo is truly a remarkable boy. *thick face mummy*

We do not speak Cantonese at home, so how did Jo learn his Cantonese? Actually he got his knowledge from Cantonese sitcom and cartoon (those translated cartoon, from Japanese to Cantonese version), kids, yeah, they are linguistic gifted! Although his spoken tune is like those China people trying to speak Cantonese, it is still happy to see he can learn this language all by his own.

I can see there are still quite a lot of offices relying on paper filing more than fully utilizing today’s technology. The more paper be used, the more harmful to our environment. So why don’t replace your paper filing with more organized storage system. Imagine, how to keep tons of paper properly in your cabinets and how to find your file in a flash with overflowing physical files. That’s horrible and time consuming in paper-based world.

Yesterday, while bathing Jo, he said :-
“Just now when i was in school, i suddenly thought of buying a birthday present for you”. *for him, everyday is everyone’s birthday*
“huh? What present are you gonna buy for mommy?”
“LV bag lo..”
“How do you know mommy love LV” *i laughed heartily at his words”
“Because you always ask papa buy for you. He no buy for you then i buy for you, ok?”
When Jo said this, he really meant it, just he doesn’t know how pricey of one LV bag can cost.
So touching, just hope that he still can remember this “present” as he grows up.
Oh, Jo, so sorry for not offering my hand to you when you fell off in the bathroom. I must have neglected you…so sorry…
